Hold the mirror against the wall at the desired position. Finding a stud can be useful but not necessary if you have a strong enough hanger. Once you ve tightened the bolt fully you can unscrew it a bit for space to hang the mirror. Hang your dining room mirror on the wall nearest to your table to give the room a brighter more open look and feel.

Make sure you have enough space on the wall for the mirror and otherwise decide how you want it positioned relative to other items on the wall and in the room. Tighten the bolt into the wall to expand the anchor. Like all mirrors in the house you should hang it at eye level. Mark the wall near the center of the top edge with a pencil or painter s tape.

Set the mirror down. Find a place to hang the mirror. Mark the location of the top edge and the center of the frame. To use drill a pilot hole then tap the entire bolt sleeve and screw into the hole until flush against the wall.

Place a scrap piece of wood that is approximately half as long as the mirror is wide underneath the hanging wire on back of the frame.
